In Nigeria, maternal mortality rates remain alarmingly high, especially in rural areas where access to healthcare is limited. Pregnant women in these communities face numerous challenges, from a lack of prenatal care to dangerous delivery conditions. The absence of trained medical personnel, emergency transport, and essential supplies puts both mothers and babies at grave risk.
This initiative seeks to provide comprehensive support for 200 pregnant women in underserved villages in Ebonyi and Kaduna States. With your support, we will fund prenatal checkups, distribution of delivery kits containing antiseptics, sterile gloves, and basic newborn care items, and training programs for local birth attendants. Additionally, we plan to establish a network of emergency transportation services to ensure safe deliveries at nearby clinics or hospitals.
Your donation will not only save lives but also strengthen these communities by promoting safe motherhood practices. By contributing to this cause, you are helping ensure that every mother and baby has the best possible chance of survival and health. Together, we can build a future where maternal care is a right, not a privilege.
